Key Attributes: Masculine energy, manifestation, action, vitality, willpower, creativity, and confidence

Pyrite is an iron sulfate mineral. The name is derived from the Greek word for fire because striking two pieces together create sparks. The ancient Incas used Pyrite as mirrors!

Pyrite is great for increasing the power of the third chakra. It imparts an increase in vitality and gives you a boost for accomplishing challenging tasks. It can assist you in overcoming bad habits and establishing new patterns of health and positive energy by enhancing one’s willpower. It can also aid you in overcoming fear and anxiety and screening out negative influences in your environment.

Pyrite is helpful for balancing polarities and creating harmony within your energy field. When meditating hold Pyrite in each hand to bring rebalancing and a refreshing burst of energy.

It also stimulates creativity – feeding the qualities of ambition, commitment, and persistence. It increases mental clarity and focus, making it a great stone for students.

Pyrite resonates with both Earth and Fire, allowing one to connect with the energy of Earth and channel that energy through the body. It energetically supports the blood and its capacity to carry oxygen. As it also carries Fire energy, it’s a warming and stimulating stone as well.

It’s a great stone for manifestation purposes as it helps you act on your ideas and concepts. It also aids in grounding higher knowledge into action and it’s helpful to use at the end of meditation to bring high-frequency energy into the physical body and realm. Its frequency is useful in stimulating creative energy and promoting healthy sexual expression.

The sulfur component of Pyrite aids in purifying the body of infection and stimulating the endocrine system for proper functioning. It’s great for combatting male impotence and infertility. The iron component focuses the power of Pyrite into the blood and tissues, helping to combat skin diseases, fungal infections, and other viruses.
