💜 From My Heart to Yours

There are moments in our lives when we can feel something quietly shifting long before we can fully explain it.

Perhaps it's a growing awareness that we've outgrown an old way of thinking. Maybe it's a gentle pull toward something we've been afraid to pursue. Or perhaps it's simply the realization that we're no longer the same person we were a year ago.

This New Moon in Leo feels like one of those moments.

If you've been working with me for a while, you probably know that I am continually learning, growing, and tending to my own spiritual journey. I truly believe that work never stops. There will always be new seasons of growth, triggers that bring something to our awareness, old patterns asking to be healed, and times when we need to intentionally return to grounding, balance, and coherence.

And honestly, I love it all.

I love continually discovering new things about myself and deepening my connection with my own inner wisdom. But I also know how challenging this work can be. Working on ourselves and committing to our spiritual growth isn't for the faint of heart, that's for sure!

Recently, I've been noticing something shifting within me.

Some of the old stories and fears around unworthiness that I once believed so deeply seem to be slowly receding into the background.

Don't get me wrong—I still have moments when feelings of unworthiness arise. I still occasionally catch myself telling an old, fear-based story or questioning myself in ways I know aren't true.

The difference I've noticed is how quickly I recognize what's happening.

When one of those thoughts or feelings arises now, I'm able to catch it sooner. I notice it. I become aware of it. And sometimes that awareness alone is enough to begin loosening its grip.

Instead of automatically believing the story, I can recognize it for what it is:

This is an old story. I don't believe this anymore.

And then I do the same things I encourage my clients to do.

I ground.

I clear my energy.

I protect my energy when that's what I need.

I reconnect with my inner wisdom and my Higher Self.

I breathe.

And I give myself whatever time I need to come back to center—to come back to my heart.

I've come to realize that this is such an important part of what growth actually looks like.

The goal isn't perfection. The goal isn't reaching some point in our healing journey where we never experience fear, self-consciousness, feelings of unworthiness, or the occasional return of an old story. We're human. These moments will continue to find us from time to time.

The difference is that we learn to recognize them before they take hold.

We notice the story before we disappear down the rabbit hole with it. We become aware of the fear before it convinces us that it's the truth.

And when we do, we have a choice.

We can breathe. We can ground. We can clear our energy. We can reach for the practices that support us. We can offer ourselves compassion instead of judgment and give ourselves the space we need to return to who we know ourselves to be.

That, to me, is part of stepping into our authentic light.

It isn't about never doubting ourselves again. It's about knowing ourselves deeply enough that when doubt arrives, we can recognize that it isn't the whole truth of who we are.

And perhaps that's where something else begins to shift.

When we stop giving quite so much power to the old stories, we create more space to listen to what feels true now. We become a little more willing to trust our ideas, honor what brings us joy, follow the opportunities that genuinely excite us, and allow ourselves to grow beyond the versions of ourselves we've already outgrown.

As we move through this New Moon together, I invite you to notice some of the ways this may already be happening within you.

Maybe something that once would have consumed you for days now passes in a few hours. Maybe you're setting a boundary you once would have been afraid to set. Maybe you're trusting an intuitive nudge without immediately questioning it. Or perhaps you're beginning to feel drawn toward an opportunity, dream, or possibility that an older version of you wouldn't have believed was meant for you.

Those moments matter.

They are evidence of your growth, but they're also invitations to keep going.

This New Moon offers us an opportunity to honor how far we've come while also asking ourselves what becomes possible when we no longer allow old fears and outdated stories to make our choices for us.

You don't have to become someone else to welcome the next chapter of your life. You don't have to wait until every insecurity has disappeared or until you feel completely fearless.

You can notice the fear.

You can breathe.

You can come back to center.

You can reconnect with your heart and your inner knowing.

And from there, you can choose what feels true now.

Perhaps that is one of the most beautiful expressions of stepping into your authentic light—not becoming someone new, but trusting yourself enough to live more fully as the person you've already become.

🌿 Understanding This New Moon

Every New Moon marks the beginning of a new lunar cycle—a quiet invitation to pause, turn inward, and plant the seeds of intentions that reflect the life you're hoping to cultivate. While Full Moons often illuminate what we're ready to release, New Moons gently encourage us to consider what we're ready to welcome.

This month's New Moon takes place in Leo, a fire sign associated with courage, creativity, joy, authenticity, and wholehearted self-expression. Leo reminds us that each of us carries a unique light. Rather than asking us to seek recognition or prove our worth, this energy encourages us to live in a way that feels true to who we are and to share our gifts from a place of sincerity and joy.

This New Moon is made even more meaningful by a Total Solar Eclipse.

Solar Eclipses always occur during a New Moon, adding another layer to the energy of new beginnings. While their influence often unfolds gradually rather than all at once, eclipses have a way of illuminating new possibilities, shifting our perspective, and gently guiding us toward the next chapter of our journey. They remind us that life is always evolving, even when we can't yet see the full picture.

If you've been intentionally working with the energy of the Lion's Gate Portal over the past several days, you may notice that this New Moon feels like a natural continuation of that journey. The Lion's Gate invited us to reconnect with our authentic light, while this New Moon and Solar Eclipse encourage us to carry that awareness forward by planting intentions that honor who we are becoming. Rather than viewing these as separate experiences, consider how one gently flows into the next—first remembering your inner light, then choosing to live from it with greater courage, authenticity, and trust.

For many empaths, this invitation can feel especially meaningful. We often become so attuned to the emotions, expectations, and needs of those around us that we unintentionally quiet parts of ourselves in the process. Yet Leo gently reminds us that honoring our own light doesn't diminish anyone else's. In fact, living authentically often gives others permission to do the same.

This New Moon also invites us to reconnect with our hearts. Leo teaches us that courage isn't the absence of fear; it's the willingness to move forward with honesty and self-trust, even when every step isn't perfectly clear.

As this lunar cycle unfolds, notice what naturally draws your attention. Pay attention to the ideas that continue to return, the opportunities that spark a quiet sense of excitement, and the moments when you feel most like yourself. These gentle nudges are often where your intuition speaks most clearly.

More than anything, this New Moon reminds us that authentic growth isn't about becoming someone different. It's about allowing ourselves to live more fully as the person we've been growing into all along.

If the Lion's Gate Portal invited you to remember your authentic light, this New Moon offers an opportunity to nurture it. The intentions you plant now are not about becoming someone different, but about creating a life that reflects who you already know yourself to be. As this new lunar cycle begins, may each choice you make be rooted in greater self-trust, courage, and authenticity.

✨ Reflection Questions

Take your time with these questions. There is no need to answer them all at once. Trust whichever question calls to you first.

  • Where in my life do I feel most free to be my authentic self?

  • What part of myself have I been keeping small that is ready to be expressed more fully?

  • Where have I been seeking permission, validation, or certainty instead of trusting my own inner wisdom?

  • What gifts, strengths, or qualities am I ready to embrace with greater confidence?

  • What opportunity feels aligned with my heart, even if it stretches me beyond my comfort zone?

  • How can I create more space for joy, creativity, and self-expression in my everyday life?

  • If I released the fear of being fully seen, what would I allow myself to begin?

  • What intention feels most aligned with the person I am becoming?

🌙 A Healing Haven Lunar Ritual

This ritual is an invitation, not a requirement. Adapt it in whatever way feels most supportive for you.

Prepare Your Space

Choose a quiet place where you can be fully present with yourself.

If it feels meaningful, gather a few items that help you connect with this New Moon's energy, such as:

  • A candle

  • Your journal

  • A favorite crystal

  • A cup of herbal tea

  • Your favorite oracle deck

  • A small object that reminds you of your own inner light, such as a meaningful keepsake, fresh flower, or something created by your own hands

Take a few slow, steady breaths.

Allow your shoulders to soften.

Let yourself arrive exactly as you are.

There is nothing you need to prove.

Nothing you need to become.

Simply be present with yourself.

Create a Moment of Presence

Close your eyes.

Place one hand over your heart and the other over your solar plexus.

Notice the gentle rhythm of your breath.

With each inhale, imagine a warm golden light filling your heart.

With each exhale, imagine that light gently expanding throughout your body, reminding you that your authentic self has always been here, quietly waiting to be embraced.

When you feel ready, quietly say:

"I welcome this new beginning with an open heart. May I trust my inner light, honor my authentic self, and move forward with courage, joy, and confidence."

Take a few more slow breaths before opening your eyes.

Set Your Intention

Return to your journal.

Rather than creating a long list of goals, choose one heartfelt intention that reflects how you wish to live rather than simply what you hope to accomplish.

Ask yourself:

"What would it look like to live more fully as my authentic self during this lunar cycle?"

Allow your answer to unfold naturally.

Write your intention with gratitude, trusting that every small choice made in alignment with your heart becomes part of the life you're creating.

Oracle Card Practice

Authentic Light Spread

Shuffle your oracle deck while holding your intention gently in your heart.

Draw one to three cards.

Card One

What part of my authentic self is ready to shine more brightly?

Card Two

What old belief or fear am I being invited to release?

Card Three

What gentle step will help me embody my authentic light during this lunar cycle?

Spend a few quiet moments reflecting on whatever insights arise.

Before reaching for the guidebook, notice your own impressions first. Trust the feelings, symbols, or words that naturally stand out to you.

Quiet Integration

Sit quietly for several minutes.

You may choose to meditate.

Listen to calming music.

Spend a few moments in nature.

Or simply watch the flame of your candle.

There is no need to seek answers.

Simply allow yourself to receive.

As you prepare to close your ritual, place both hands over your heart and take one final deep breath.

Offer yourself gratitude for showing up with openness, curiosity, and compassion.

Blow out your candle, knowing that although the flame has faded from view, the intention you've planted continues to grow, quietly guiding you toward a life that reflects your authentic light.

🔮 Crystal & Plant Allies

As with every Healing Haven practice, these are offered as gentle companions rather than necessities. Trust your own intuition if another crystal, flower, herb, or essential oil feels more supportive for you during this New Moon. Your relationship with these natural allies will always be more meaningful than following a prescribed list.

Crystals

Sunstone

A beautiful companion for cultivating confidence, joy, optimism, and authentic self-expression. Sunstone gently encourages you to embrace your gifts, celebrate your strengths, and step forward with greater trust in yourself.

Carnelian

Known for supporting creativity, courage, and inspired action, Carnelian reminds us that even small, heart-centered steps can lead to meaningful growth. It encourages us to move beyond self-doubt and into authentic expression.

Citrine

Often associated with abundance, confidence, and personal empowerment, Citrine encourages a mindset of possibility while reminding us to trust in our own abilities and welcome new opportunities with gratitude.

Essential Oils

Sweet Orange

Bright and uplifting, Sweet Orange encourages joy, optimism, and a renewed sense of possibility. Its cheerful aroma pairs beautifully with Leo's warm, heart-centered energy.

Frankincense

A grounding companion for meditation and quiet reflection, Frankincense encourages presence, inner wisdom, and a deeper connection with your authentic self.

Herbal Tea

A warm cup of lemon balm, tulsi, or ginger tea offers an opportunity to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and gently prepare your heart and mind for intention setting.

Flowers

Sunflowers, marigolds, or golden chrysanthemums beautifully reflect Leo's radiant energy and symbolize joy, confidence, vitality, and the courage to shine in your own unique way. If these flowers are available to you, consider placing them in your sacred space as a gentle reminder to honor your authentic light.

🌿 Closing Blessing

May this New Moon remind you that your light was never meant to look like anyone else's.

May you trust the quiet wisdom of your own heart.

May you find the courage to release the expectations that no longer belong to you and embrace the person you are continually becoming.

May your voice grow a little steadier, your confidence a little stronger, and your joy a little more present with each passing day.

May you welcome new beginnings with curiosity rather than fear, trusting that every step taken in alignment with your authentic self is leading you exactly where you are meant to be.

And may this New Moon and Total Solar Eclipse gently illuminate the path ahead, helping you recognize the opportunities, relationships, and experiences that support your highest good.

May this reflection encourage you to trust yourself more deeply, celebrate the gifts that make you uniquely you, and remember that your authentic light has been within you all along—waiting not to be found, but to be fully embraced.

May your intentions take root with courage.

May your heart remain open to possibility.

And may this lunar cycle remind you that the most beautiful life you can create is one that reflects the truth of who you are.
